Rane 62 Does Not Show In Midi With Scratch Live
Open Serato DJ.
Connect your device’s USB cable to the computer.
If the device does not connect, look for the Install Driver button in the right hand panel. Click it. This launches the Rane driver installer, it will require a reboot. Follow the directions and install.
After the computer has rebooted open the device’s control panel.
Windows: The device control panel icon is located in the Windows Control Panel.
Mac: The device control panel icon is located in the system preferences pane.
If the “Update firmware” panel is not grayed out, a firmware update is necessary. Click the firmware update button to update the device’s firmware.
Close the device control panel.
Open Serato DJ, your device should be recognized and connected now.
What if the device is still not recognized?
Mac: Close Serato DJ and disconnect the device. Go into the Audio/MIDI setup (through Utilities folder in Applications), click the 'Window' tab at the top of the screen, click 'Show MIDI Window'. Locate your device and remove it.
Quit Audio/MIDI setup, connect your device USB, then open Serato DJ.

The Sixty-Two, Sixty-Four, Sixty-Eight, and the SL3 require a firmware update to be compatible with Serato DJ 1.6.0 and newer.
- Caution to Rane Sixty-Two users: Due to backwards compatibility issues, the 2.14 firmware version is not to be used with Scratch Live (see below for details).

2. Open Serato DJ.
3. Connect your Rane device with a USB cable to the computer.

The 1.6.3 verison of Serato DJ includes the new driver needed to update the Rane Sixty-Two firmware to the latest 2.21 build.
6. If the Update Firmware panel is not grayed out, and the button is yellow, a firmware update is necessary. Click the Update Firmware button to update the device’s firmware.
7. Close the device control panel.
8. Open Serato DJ. Your Rane device should be recognized and connected with the decks visible.
WHAT IF THE RANE DEVICE IS STILL NOT RECOGNIZED?
Macintosh:
1. Close Serato DJ and disconnect the device’s USB cable.
2. Open the Audio MIDI Setup.app located in the Utilities folder in Applications.
3. Click the Window tab at the top of the screen, and click Show MIDI Window.
4. Locate your Rane device and click on it to enable the Remove Device button. The Sixty-Two is selected here.

5. Click the Remove Device button to remove the device.
